Hell Boy [Review]

In fifth century England, King Arthur defeats the blood Queen Nimue – [Milla Jovovich]. When she returns in the present day, it’s up to Hellboy – [David Harbour] and his pals in the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defence (B.P.R.D) to stop her.

David Harbour does a pretty good job compared to Ron Perlman {who nailed it}, but the movie does not live up to expectations based on previous experiences {i.e the previous hellboy movies}; although the movie tries to stay true to the source material that creates problems of its own.

All in all, I can see why people did not like this movie even though for me it was a decent representation and I hope at least it can revive the franchise. The things that bothered me the most were mostly the bad choice of the chapter from the main material {and how much they mistreated plot lines and characters} to make a reboot that nobody wanted and or needed.

What do you think?
